About the event
“How and when do we interrupt a dead conversation to bring it back to life? I'd suggest the best time to interrupt is when we hear one more word than we want to hear." Marshall Rosenberg
Many people, including me, have had this idea that suffering when disconnected from a conversation is more polite than interrupting. Actually, it is a gift if we guess what the other person may be wanting and share what we are longing for from a place of self-responsibility. Come join us and we will explore interrupting with love and joy!
Interactive exercises exploring:
• underlying beliefs that could keep us from interrupting
• keeping our mouths shut then feeling bored and disconnected
• believing it's rude to interrupt
• truth without triggering trauma
