You can continue learning about Nonviolent Communication by taking any of the following steps:

  1. Sign up for the Capital NVC newsletter to learn about upcoming events and read articles on NVC.

  2. Take a local class or workshop.

  3. Take a multi-day CNVC intensive training.

  4. Read “Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Life” by Marshall Rosenberg, or find more NVC Resources.

  5. Go to the Center for Nonviolent Communication web site and order CDs or DVDs to listen to or watch.

  6. Arrange a private training for your group or organization by emailing Capital NVC.

  7. Join an NVC practice group. Either join an existing group, or gather some friends together and start a new NVC practice group. These can be self-guided using the book, “Nonviolent Communication Companion Workbook,” by Lucy Leu. Capital NVC trainers may be available to advise on getting your group going.

  8. Visit the NVC Academy web site. View the sample videos. Consider paying $10 a month to subscribe to their monthly video series. Sign up for a tele-class or online training.

  9. Arrange for private coaching or consulting by a Capital NVC trainer. Contact a trainer individually or email Capital NVC.

  10. If you're ready to take a deep plunge into Nonviolent Communication, consider participating in one of the extended training programs offered around the country.
