If you’re like me, there have been moments recently when I’ve forgotten that we are truly connected. Moments when I can believe the divine lives in everyone… except that person.
And yet—those moments can become powerful invitations. What if the “enemy” we see out there is also something we can gently explore within ourselves?
When I’m overwhelmed or in survival mode, I notice old patterns and past hurts rising to the surface. In those moments, it can feel easy to turn whole groups of people into “them.” Even people I deeply love can suddenly feel distant or unfamiliar.
If you know me, you know I care deeply about social justice and the well-being of those most impacted by our current systems. And I also know that real, lasting change includes the inner work of how we see—and relate…
