About the event

You will need some sewing skills or a willingness to learn to participate fully in this workshop.  Workshop Highlights:

  • Guided Crafting Session: By turning, sewing and embelishing felt elements you will create a unique empathy doll -a tool designed to foster emotional awareness and connection.
  • Introduction to NVC: Discover the basics of Nonviolent Communication, a powerful approach to expressing needs and understanding others without judgment or blame.
  • Empathy in Action: Engage in interactive exercises that demonstrate how your empathy doll can be used in everyday conversations to promote peace, reduce conflict, and nurture relationships.
  • All Materials Provided by Capital NVC: From felt and thread to embellishments, everything you need will be supplied. Just bring your creativity and a willingness to explore this way of connecting!
