Do we rebel, submit, or something different?

Many are drawn to Nonviolent Communication (NVC) to learn how to communicate without provoking anger. Despite extensive training, we can't control others' reactions. Engaging with NVC enhances my ability to listen and express my values, fostering deeper connections. Yet, triggering still occurs, albeit less frequently. It's a continuous learning process, especially regarding anger.

The workshop description includes a question mark after “boundaries?” because others' anger can trigger personal trauma, leading us to set boundaries or choose not to connect as we heal.

We'll discuss this as a group and in smaller dyads or triads. You're always free to choose your level of participation. Let us know if you prefer to be in a group based on your identity or want to journal independently.
