The Illusion of Conflicting Needs

Should I stay or should I go? If I stay it will be trouble...(what’s the next line?)

So many times in my life, I seem to be stuck between a rock and a hard place. Any way I turn, I think there will be pain and who would want that? Then of course, there are times that there seems to be fun in multiple places and I don’t want to miss out on anything. Why does it seem like my needs conflict with each other?
