Mali Parke is a Certified Life Coach focused on empowerment and restorative relating within self, relationships (with all ages), communities, and organizations. She works with individuals, families, educators, and teams who are looking to live life from a purposeful, deeply connected, and empowered presence as well as increase collaboration, vision sharing, and partnerships in their relationships.
Mali is a candidate for certification with the Center for Nonviolent Communication and has trained in other practices such as Conscious Discipline, Positive Discipline, Mindulness, Focusing, Shadow/Core Belief Work, Voice Dialogue, Attachment Theory Restorative Circles, PeaceMaking Circles, Journey of Young Women (young girl mentoring), and Family Constellations. She is a graduate of and past assistant with BayNVC's North American Leadership Program (2012 and 2014) and of the Parent Peer Leadership Program by BayNVC (2009), the Welcoming Life (2011) program with Lynd Morris on Robert Gonzales' approach, and Inner Relationship Focusing with Gina Cenciose. She is a co-organizer and facilitator at the regional NVC summer camp: Family HEART Camp West Virginia. She is a co-founding member of the DC Alliance for Restorative Practices, a network of Restorative Justice/Practices practitioners and facilitators in Washington, DC and a consultant trainer at DC Restorative, a 2015 initiative to bring restorative culture to DC schools.
Mali has brought trainings to organizations such as the Peace Corps, American University's Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project, the DC Peace Team, and the Washington Peace Center.
